Adults living with ongoing health conditions or a chronic disease are invited to participate in Better Choices, Better Health at Tutu’s House in Waimea from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, April 4 through May 9.

Developed by Stanford University to help individuals take an active role in managing their physical, emotional and mental health conditions, Better Choices, Better Health is designed to work with and enhance existing treatments, said a Tutu’s House spokesman.

Through the series of six classes, participants will get tips to gain self-confidence in their ability to control their symptoms and explore how their health conditions affect their lives.

There is no fee to participate in the course, though donations are welcome. Call 885-6777 to register.

Tutu’s House is a project of Friends of the Future, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization “bringing people together to build a better future.”
